Topic: Veganism IQ: Should we eat animals?       Is it ethical and healthy to consume animals?

1.The most labor I spent this week was working at my job covering someones shift which really took a lot of my time. So on bart rides, I try my best to stay awake and utilize my time to read and annotate that way I'm not just sitting there. Annotating  the reading was was alright. I skimmed most of the content. 2. One of the things that stood out to me this week was the reading. Who knew there were different types of questions? At the moment, it was a bit of a challenge to come up with examples but I made it through. Other than the reading though, I do not think that the labor was difficult. 3. I feel my labor this week was a bit overwhelming because I had to finish up my assignments. I guess I should sleep earlier so I won't be susceptible to sleep on bart.

In the beginning of the week we had a presentation from Grace that was really informative. It was reassuring to know that the school is aware of these issues and are wanting to know about what, specifically, first year student thinks about these issues and their experience at SFSU. What I liked was being able to get with a group to make a video about a cause like commuters and make a promotional video. I found this weeks work to be really easygoing and not rushed.

The presentation  from Grace was interesting. Regarding our issues that we have discussed in class. I think there should be more presentations that are more in depth that go into explaining what is the school doing to address these issues. It was really thoughtful that she had three categories and surveyed our class to get our thoughts, experience and goals.

I believe commuter support is important because there are currently many things about muni and transportation many students face. For example, the muni for bus 28 is very inconvenient. There is an app for muni however it is inconsistent with the timing of when bus 28 arrives. In addition to the SFSU transportation. There is no way of telling when it will come even though it says it comes every 15 minutes. Not only that, many students have different forms of communing to school. When they come to school they are exhausted and is more difficult to concentrate on classes.

This week I felt the work load was bearable as a student. About the new grading syllabus, it is a new grading system that I was not in favor of at first but since this is a new semester I will keep an open mind and experience how it goes. This week was a little hectic and was hard to find the time to do the readings. However I found the time to do so by making time and prioritizing my tasks. During this week, I noticed I need to improve myself on being organized that way everything is done in an orderly fashion. To add, making use of free time by catching up on my readings to have the time to do what I need to do because time is something that can never be taken back.
