Reflection ESSAY 2: It's a visual world/// Reading Visual Text is kind of like reading visuals as language.

1) I have done visual analysis but not visual analysis essays. The process for the visual analysis was just looking at a picture and try to interpret it meaning bases on the context. The visual analysis essay was more in depth and required more analysis and interpretation of the image. The experiences for interpreting the visual was similar however, the essay was much more in depth.

2)The assignment was straightforward, I feel. The questions that we came up with in class helped in the process of writing. The questions served as a basic guide or outline. It was daunting to write three pages about a visual analysis but the questions were a simple guideline.

3) The most difficult part of this essay was knowing how to phrases words that meant the same thing. For my visual there seemed to be a lot of repetition of the explanations. I got through this by re-visiting my visual and  observing the surroundings of it to see what I could include.

4) This essay did not dramatically change my daily life. I always looked at my surroundings. However, I never had the curiosity to know more about them. but in doing these assignment I have noticed that my eyes were wondering to ads, murals and posters around my environment.

5) In the feedback from this essay I feel like I dropped because my visual seemed very limiting, there was not much to write about. The things I wrote all kept going back to a point I have stated previously. Besides that, the feedback I received was good in knowing what I did well but not so much in what I could have done better.

6)After the conference with Professor Dan, I included more detail about my childhood to further demonstrate how I related to the advertisement. The conference was helpful in what I was missing in my essay. For example, including a work cited page and obviously the image itself.

7) Overall, I feel okay about my essay. I would not say it is the best but not the worst either.
I thought this essay was bearable. I would not say I am the writer type but through writing this essay, it made me recall the memories of my childhood that I had forgotten for a while. It was interesting to find information about the founder of quicklys, though information was limited, I found the information that I needed. In addition to making me feel curious about my surroundings.

Reading Visual

I am a native speakerr and I don't even know the correct rules and grammar punctuation. When it comes to English writing and speaking it is very different. Speaking, native English speakers have lots of slangs do others, but we mis use words and often use wrong grammar. DEpentdw here you from birtian or America or Australia.
