In the article "Advertising: The Art of Manipulating the Masses" by Ammar Alsharif, Alsharif discusses the ways we as customers get manipulated by companies that just want to make a profit. The three ways they manipulate customers is using influencers to endorse their products. Second, use women as "sex objects" for sexual appeal. Lastly, corporations will manipulate customers by displaying their ads everywhere. Alsharif warns the readers to be aware of the advertisements. Corporations also use ads that connect with our emotions.This relates to my image because the ad for the drinks has very bright colors. Bright colors are usually associated with warm and happy emotions. In contrast to darker colors where they promote more gloomy emotions.
